The Road Not Taken

                                                     By Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both

We all have decisions each and every day that we must make - good or bad.  Limitations may be time, money, health or simply a lack of imagination or sense of adventure.

And be one traveller, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

First impressions are not always correct, but oftentimes seem to dictate our decisions.  This is not a bad thing - just human nature.

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

Opportunities missed - we all experience them.  I guess the lesson to be learned here is to enjoy or take advantage of your decision and make the best of it!

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference

Start making a difference in your life; take the "road less traveled" and make your own way!  Fall is a wonderful time to get out there and discover all of the beauty of Mother Nature, unplug for a little while and bond with your family and friends.  You will return to your "every day life" refreshed and ready to tackle all that life has in store for you.

Wishing you a beautiful fall!

Greenlight a Vet
America's veterans are some of our nation's bravest, hardest-working men and women. However, it's hard to show them the appreciation they deserve when, back home and out of uniform, they're more camouflaged than ever.  Greenlight a Vet is a campaign to establish visible national support for our veterans by changing one light to green.
